FORMER NY-21 CONGRESSMAN WILLIAM OWENS ENDORSES TEDRA COBB
FMR NY-21 CONGRESSMAN BILL OWENS ENDORSES TEDRA COBB
PLATTSBURGH—Former NY-21 Congressman, J.A.G. Officer, and Veteran, William Owens (D-Plattsburgh), endorses Tedra Cobb for Congress.
“I am pleased to announce my endorsement of Tedra Cobb in the November election to the House of Representatives from New York’s 21st Congressional District. As the former Democratic Member of Congress in NY-21, I know how important it is to elect someone who understands the issues facing our communities and who has a proven record of working across the aisle to get things done.
When the North Country votes this November they have a clear choice: Elise Stefanik who has become Party focused ignoring the concerns of a large portion of her constituents or they can choose Tedra who worked across the aisle to pass a tough ethics law, to lower the cost of prescription drugs, and to help struggling families with home heating assistance. For me, the choice is clear.
As a member of the North Country community for more than 30 years, Tedra has dedicated her life to serving her community. She served as a volunteer firefighter, educator and started a community health agency that provided access to preventative screenings and follow-up care to thousands.
Tedra is a formidable opponent for this seat and has a proven track record of getting things done in this community. I am proud to endorse her candidacy for Congress.”
