Q3 FUNDRAISING BREAKDOWN

Q3 FUNDRAISING BREAKDOWN: STEFANIK RECEIVES HALF OF HER MONEY FROM POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEES

CANTON—The most recent campaign finance reports show a clear distinction in values and priorities for Tedra Cobb and Elise Stefanik. While Cobb continues to raise the vast majority of her money from individuals who live in the district and has pledged not to accept corporate PAC contributions, Elise Stefanik continues to rely heavily on corporate PAC support to fund her reelection campaign. In fact, the Stefanik campaign actually has more PAC donors than individual donors in New York.

Quarter 3 by the numbers:

Cobb Stefanik
$0 raised from corporate PAC’s $224,250 raised from PAC’s
1,184 in-district donors Fewer than 70 reported in district donors
1,621 donors from New York State Reported more PAC donors (107) than donors in New York State (106)
$0 raised from healthcare industry PACs Over $390,000 lifetime from the healthcare industry PACs

“Elise Stefanik’s campaign continues to be funded by the very corporations that have increased the cost of healthcare for New York families, said Cobb.” “ She has taken hundreds of thousands of dollars from corporate PAC’s while voting to kick 64,000 Northern New Yorkers off their health insurance, gut protections for people with pre-existing conditions and raise the cost of prescription drugs. I have fought to expand access to quality healthcare and as a legislator lowered the cost of prescription drugs. I will never accept corporate PAC contributions. Unlike Elise Stefanik, my vote will never be for sale.”
