Letter to the Editor: Stefanik….
One thing Rep. Stefanik has not talked meaningfully about has been conditions for working families. Their quality of life is of little concern to her. She prefers to tour businesses, chat up bosses and collect checks from hedge funds, corporations and dark-money PACs.
Contrast all of this with Stefanik’s competitor in this November’s election, Tedra Cobb, who has eschewed corporate PAC money and accounts it a privilege to concern herself with the well-being of her neighbors in our district. And workers and their families have taken notice. Cobb recently received the unanimous endorsement of New York’s AFL-CIO. She is endorsed by the New York State United Teachers Union and the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers. These hardworking people of the North Country recognize that their interests will be served much more faithfully by Tedra Cobb than they have been in four years under Elise Stefanik.
