Letter: Cobb’s local legacy

“Tedra has a superior personal and professional work ethic, a track record of leading bipartisan resolutions in government and has 30 years of personal and professional examples demonstrating her commitment to this community.”

I have known Tedra Cobb since 2007, when I first moved to Canton and began my career in public service serving victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in this district.

I am familiar with Tedra’s extensive public service and contributions to addressing important issues facing our community.

Tedra has a superior personal and professional work ethic, a track record of leading bipartisan resolutions in government and has 30 years of personal and professional examples demonstrating her commitment to this community.

In addition to her professional public service, I have observed Tedra quietly and privately organize critical support for members of our community simply because they had nowhere else to turn.

Tedra’s extensive public service is simply a reflection of who Tedra has always been and always will be.

More than ever, it is imperative that we elect someone who lives here, who has a proven track record of government leadership and who has earned extensive respect and support in this community.

Tedra’s local legacy is the reason why 700 (and growing) unpaid volunteers are eagerly at her disposal.

Tedra lives here and knows this region very well. She is smart, honest, and an effective leader with a track record of success who my family, and I would be incredibly proud to call our congresswoman.
