Letter to the Editor: Cobb Cares Greatly About Everyday People

After meeting Tedra Cobb and seeing what a down-to-earth person she is with much common sense and is great answering questions snip-snap from the floor, not needing answers to come from a staff person, I truly am impressed with this lady.

I was shocked when I read about the teenager episode and the lies told as well as taking pictures of Ms. Cobb without permission. U.S. Rep. Elise Stefanik’s team saw nothing wrong in doing that, and the GOP paid this individual as well.

The Stefanik team often boasts of not always following the Trump administration. However, statistics show that it follows the president about 90 percent of the time. How embarrassing it must have been for her to find that President Donald Trump could not even pronounce her name correctly when he arrived at Fort Drum.

Readers should check Ms. Cobb’s resume because they would find her very qualified for the job of representing our district and addressing the everyday needs of our everyday people. While Trump was snubbing U.S. Sen. John McCain, Tedra Cobb was holding a roundtable meeting discussing health care issues. That is very important to both Democrats and Republicans, don’t you agree?

I am one of those “everyday” people. And if you are as well, how about joining me in voting for Tedra Cobb? You will not be sorry.
