“I am running so that Northern New Yorkers have representation in Washington from someone who, unlike Elise Stefanik, is rooted in this district, and is prepared to listen to and be accountable to her constituents,” Ms. Cobb said in a statement. “I pledge that as a Congresswoman, I will hold 12 public town halls per year, one in each county. In contrast to our current Representative, I’m not afraid to face my constituents, listen to their concerns, and explain my votes.”
