Learning Objectives:
Participants will:
- Identify the steps of developing an effective training program: analysis, development, design, implementation and evaluation
- Recognize various learning styles and develop strategies to engage the adult learner
- Identify and practice effective public speaking techniques that engage participants
- Demonstrate effective listening and facilitation techniques that encourage questions and facilitate discussion
- Identify and construct learning activities that will incorporate the various learning styles
- Develop evaluation tools to assess learner’s knowledge, comprehension and skills
Outcomes:
Skills learned include: assessing the target audience, developing learning objectives, public speaking, facilitation, creating learning activities, developing evaluation strategies.
